Realme is set to unveil its newest offering, the Realme GT 6T, in India later this month. With recent teasers building anticipation, the company has now confirmed the exact launch date and offered a sneak peek at the handset's design. There are indications that the GT 6T might be a rebranded version of the Realme GT Neo 6 SE, which debuted in China in April. The design showcased by the company closely resembles that of the GT Neo 6 SE, hinting at a possible connection between the two models.

Design Overview-

The Realme GT 6T is presented in a sleek silver hue with a glossy finish. Its dual rear cameras are housed within two distinct circular modules, slightly elevated and arranged vertically at the top left corner of the rear panel. Adjacent to the cameras, dual LED flash units sit atop a third circular island. On the device's right edge are the power button and volume rockers, while the bottom edge hosts the USB Type-C port and speaker grilles.

Launch Date and Availability-

Realme has officially announced that the GT 6T will launch in India on May 22 at 12 pm IST. The phone will be available for purchase through Amazon, the Realme website, and select offline stores across the country.

Price Speculations-

Initial leaks suggested a price tag of Rs. 31,999 for the Realme GT 6T in India. However, there's a word of caution from a tipster regarding the reliability of this leak, as sometimes brands intentionally leak higher prices than the actual launch rates.

Speculated Features and Specifications-

Realme has disclosed that the GT 6T will be powered by a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 SoC. Furthermore, speculations from a trusted tipster align the GT 6T's features closely with those of the Realme GT Neo 6 SE.

The upcoming model is rumored to boast a 5,500mAh battery with 100W fast charging support. Its display might be a 6.78-inch 1.5K BOE S1 8T LTPO OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1600 nits peak brightness, and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection.

Under the hood, the GT 6T could feature an Adreno 732 GPU, LPDDR5x RAM, and UFS 4.0 storage. It's anticipated to run on an Android 14-based OS and could come with an IP65 rating for dust and splash resistance.

In terms of optics, the GT 6T is expected to sport a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), along with an 8-megapixel Sony IMX355 sensor for ultrawide shots. For selfies, a 32-megapixel Sony IMX615 sensor is rumored.

Connectivity options may include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, and NFC. The phone is speculated to weigh around 191g and measure 8.65mm in thickness.

Benchmark Performance-

The Realme GT 6T, listed on Geekbench with the model number RMX3853, achieved scores of 1,801 and 4,499 on the single-core and multi-core tests, respectively. The listing also suggests the presence of 12GB of RAM.
